COMMUNITYReported tutorial-useful parts plus Cash. Inspect and mount a received component before treating it as a build improvement.
Your garage-to-horde reference
Build a working car, fit weapons and defenses, then drive through zombies to earn Cash. This wiki connects your first run with useful upgrades, equipment checks, driving fixes and reported codes so each garage visit has a clear purpose.

Nine articles ordered by publication date, separate from game patch dates.

Understand engine, fuel and support dependencies, inspect unlocked parts in Index and choose a layout you can actually assemble.

Choose between Luck, More Support and vehicle parts by identifying the next usable purchase and keeping a Cash reserve.

Compare repeatable earning sessions, separate run income from extra rewards and stop spending when optional rolls erase your progress.

Understand distance-and-kill earnings, check reported Cash codes and divide spending between rolls, rolled parts and Skills.

Launch an assembled car, read the fuel limit and compare distance and zombie contact before changing the vehicle.

Separate a missing-engine launch failure from an empty-fuel stop, then inspect placement and results before another purchase.

Prepare a launchable car, recognize the fuel end condition and improve repeatable runs without rebuilding every system at once.

Understand zombie groups during driving, connect kills to Cash and inspect weapon contact without assuming a fixed wave schedule.

Find the Build and DRIVE inputs, understand garage interactions and use the on-screen RETURN prompt at the end of a run.
Four published guides for first assembly, a useful revision and earning Cash.

This Build and Kill Zombies beginner guide takes you from the engine roll to a first run and one useful next purchase.

Learn Build and Kill Zombies how to build a car steps for the engine, tutorial weapon and highlighted mounting checks.

Compare Build and Kill Zombies car upgrades one revision at a time, with the working arrangement preserved as a reference.

Use Build and Kill Zombies how to earn Cash instructions to read distance, kills and the result before choosing one affordable action.
Start with a car you can launch instead of chasing a perfect roll. The opening tutorial gives you the engine and weapon sequence; the first driving result tells you what to inspect afterward. Keep cosmetic changes and larger builds for a later garage visit.
First milestone Leave the garage with installed power and equipment, finish a drive and name one specific improvement from its result.
Garage → assembly → driving → revisionEach stage has a different check. A purchase, a mounting action and a driving reward are related, but they are not interchangeable proof that the car works.

Preserve the first launchable layout as a reference. A later replacement is easier to judge when engine, fuel and weapon placement did not all change together.
First-run walkthroughThe two reported codes below were checked against a game-specific guide on September 18, 2026. A source check is different from live redemption testing; use the game message to decide whether your claim succeeds.

This order compares four vehicle part families after you already have a functioning starter car. It favors the dependency limiting the next useful run; it is not an official rarity or durability ranking. Wheels remain a basic assembly family outside this spending comparison.
All four families exist in the building system. Their order below is an editorial spending recommendation for a car that launches and makes useful contact but ends on empty fuel. Change that order when your actual obstacle differs.
When useful contact continues until empty fuel, inspect a fuel replacement and compare distance with the other components stable.
For no launch, engine installation becomes the first check. Once launch works, compare a replacement separately from fuel changes.
Inspect usable points when an owned weapon has no place to go; check More Support Skills rather than buying another unusable weapon.
Revise structure for a specific assembly problem. Extra blocks alone do not establish a fix for an empty-fuel limit or a known armor bonus.
Change this editorial order when your observed obstacle differs from the stated working-car scope.
Preserve a working layout and change one component whose job matches the run limit. This makes the next drive a comparison you can interpret instead of a complete rebuild with several possible explanations.
Choose the outcome before opening the part menu. Fuel range, equipment contact and an unused mounting point are different questions. Keeping the other systems intact helps the result answer the one you selected.
Record the engine, fuel arrangement and weapon placement before removing anything. Name the observed limit in one sentence, then choose the single component or point that could address it. Do not spend toward a preset merely because its appearance is larger.
Use Select Category for the part family you actually need and read available entries in Index. After obtaining a component, select it in Build and verify the placed result on the vehicle. Acquisition and installation are separate checks, so stop if the intended revision cannot yet be mounted.
Drive with a similar approach to zombie groups and read the end condition, distance, kills and Cash before shopping again. Repeat a close result rather than assigning every gain from one unusually good run to the new part.
Check ownership, a usable mount and purposeful placement separately. Another weapon does not create a slot; another slot does not install your equipment.
Recognition, ownership and installation are separate states. A demonstration can show an item without making it available in your inventory.
Open Build and select the equipment you already own. Inspect its highlighted points before paying for a different name. If the part has a suitable unused point, finish installation and verify it on the actual car.
Capacity is relevant when useful equipment cannot be mounted, not as a substitute for a missing engine or more fuel.
More Support I and More Support II are slot-related Skills bought with Cash. Read the live cost and requirements, then decide whether the added point serves an item you can use. Preserve enough balance for any remaining equipment purchase.
Front-facing support weapons meet zombies before the rest of the build. Use that as a starting arrangement to inspect, then watch the approach that brings groups to the equipment.
Keep engine and fuel stable while trying one placement. If the equipped area rarely meets zombies, revise the point or driving line before treating another weapon purchase as the automatic answer. A multi-weapon showcase cannot isolate one item’s contribution.
First decide whether the car never launched or launched and later stopped. Inspect the dependency that matches that symptom before another roll or support purchase; the two cases require different checks.
Use this diagnosis after a failed launch attempt or a run that ended earlier than you expected. Keep the last working layout recorded so a repair does not erase the useful reference.
DRIVE does not produce a driving run. Owning an engine after a roll is not proof that it was placed on the vehicle.
Dependency to inspectA vehicle without a mounted engine does not launch. An unfinished placement should be resolved before buying another engine.
The run entered driving successfully, fuel drained and the live interface presents RETURN. This is a range question rather than an initial mounting failure.
Dependency to inspectFuel drains during driving and an empty supply ends the run. More support space does not establish a remedy for that end condition.
Reserve the visible cost of your next usable purchase. Cash funds rolls, rolled parts and Skills; mixing those expenses can leave the intended action unfinished.
You found a component that addresses the observed run limit, but optional rolling is still tempting. The decision is whether the balance completes this known action before starting an uncertain search.
Another weapon roll does not resolve capacity. The known next action is a support-related Skill, provided the live requirements and balance permit it.
Match the command to the active screen: B opens Build, F or DRIVE starts a run and the displayed RETURN prompt ends an empty-fuel attempt. A visible prompt is more useful than repeatedly guessing a shortcut from another phase.
Use this reference when you know the action you want but need the input or destination. Keyboard labels describe the recorded interface; follow the live screen when your device presents different controls.
Choose the installed component rather than confusing the part acquisition screen with the car layout.
Start after assembly and leaving Build; the launch input does not install a missing engine.
Use the displayed end-of-run prompt when the fuel supply empties, then read the result at the garage.

Article publication, source checks and Roblox update metadata are separate dates. Check official information before treating a timestamp as a balance change.
Compare required parts with usable inventory. Keep a functioning owned layout as your baseline, then add one revision whose effect you can recognize.
